Visit Barrington Farm School to see community composting in action, followed by information about the many different ways of composting food scraps, including curbside pick-up, backyard composting, vermicomposting, and more! Representatives from the URI Cooperative Extension will be available to share other ways of keeping food out of the waste stream too! Stay the whole time, or drop-in whenever you can.

Participation is welcome, but not required. Close-toed shoes, water, and old clothes are recommended for those wanting to help with the community composting at 3pm.
