What's a zero waste station?
Zero waste stations are front-of-house setups which include receptacles and clear signage to help guests sort event discards into recycling, composting, and landfill (only when necessary!)
Signage and informative event staff help keep them organized and easy to understand for guests, while seriously shrinking the carbon footprint of your event.

What do compost services cost?

What goes in the bin?
If you can eat it, we can take it! That includes meats, bones, dairy, and certified compostable packaging. You can check out the full list here.
Do you accept compostable serveware?
We accept all BPI or CMA certified compostable serveware. Feeling overwhelmed by all the options out there? We’ll work with you to choose and source the perfect compostable products to serve your business and the planet!
What if I'm working with a venue or vendors?
We're always happy to work directly with your venue and all vendors to get everyone comfortable and on board. We make our services as simple as possible, and will train any necessary staff or volunteers so everyone is confident about what goes where!
What do your containers and signage look like?
We offer a variety of different collection container options, appropriate for events of all scales. Our snap-lid containers offer easy, kitchen friendly collection, or we can provide compostable liners to fit any bin of your choosing. Looking for something unique? We’re always happy to produce co-branded materials to fit your style!
Do you staff events?
Depending on the size of your event, we can absolutely send along trained 'trash talkers' to man zero waste stations and answer guest questions, or bring a back-of-house team to support set up, break down, and all waste management for your event.
What's included in the Diversion and Sustainability Report?
We'll provide a full written post-event breakdown to let you know how much material you've kept out of the landfill. We'll share some equivalencies so you know the impact of your efforts, and share gentle recommendations for opportunities to do even better next time!

We compost all of our feedstocks in Central Falls, RI, so you can feel confident that your hauling footprint is not outweighing the benefit of your composting efforts!
